Anything to do with art or being creative has always sparked my interest, and that’s what attracted me to tattooing.
In high school I was usually in the art rooms. I spent a lot of time working on pencil sketches and paintings. I briefly attended the faculty of fine arts at the U of M but was offered a tattoo apprenticeship and decided that was the way to go. I apprenticed a full year learning the ins and outs of the industry and how to professionally apply a tattoo before ever touching skin. Now that I’m applying my artwork on people I find that my style of tattooing is pretty adaptable, that’s why I enjoy tattooing different styles of art. Anything big, bold and colourful is usually a favourite.
